Deirdre Conway Rand, Ph.D.


Deirdre Conway Rand, Ph.D. Deirdre C. Rand, Ph.D., is a forensic psychologist in private practice in Mill Valley, California. She specializes in high conflict divorce, parental alienation, parental abduction, Munchausen syndrome by proxy and other complex forms of psychological abuse. Her work has been published by the American Psychiatric Association and in peer reviewed journals. She is currently reviewing a book on Adult Children of Parental Alienation Syndrome for W.W. Norton Publishers. Dr. Rand and her husband, Dr. Randy Rand, are the authors of two chapters in the International Handbook of Parental Alienation Syndrome, including a chapter on Factors Affecting Reconciliation between the Child and Target Parent.
