GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is an intermediate course on Supervision designed specifically for social workers, and to augment other courses on Clinical Supervision.
The course is comprised of two (2) articles. The first is a position paper from the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work and identifies the current status of the field and provides recommendations for improvements. The Codes of Ethics for three of the clinical associations are included in the second article, so that clinicians keep abreast of changes associated with Clinical Supervision and the ethics guiding its administration by clinical social workers today.
